Statistics that prove the importance of AI training for employees

Even though some people may think Artificial Intelligence has received more attention in recent years than it deserves, one thing is certain: its emergence, and especially its predicted future development, will bring fundamental changes both to the labour market and how the typical workday looks for many employees. Here are some key statistics from a recent survey that will convince you training team members in the use of AI is not a luxury, but a necessity.

CEOs clearly see it: AI helps them increase efficiency

According to a U.S. survey by Thomson Reuters, 80% of global business leaders reported that AI had helped them, their teams and their companies to improve overall productivity and work efficiency. Despite some controversy and missteps, it is evident that when used wisely, AI can provide companies with a significant competitive advantage.

AI relieves employees of routine tasks

According to the same survey, AI is currently most effectively used for automating routine operations. Thanks to this, 85% of top management respondents stated that AI already allows employees to focus on productive and creative tasks, and they expect that within the next five years, the way their employees work will change significantly.

Only 31% of companies offer AI training

Despite the potential of AI and the expectations mentioned above, companies are still failing to prepare their employees properly for the new AI era. Only 31 percent of company representatives said that their organisation provides training in the use of AI. What does this mean? It means that companies which embrace AI and manage to implement it effectively (especially through training) will be one step ahead of the 69% of companies that do not offer such education.
