Organisation of work

A successful manager must be highly organised: they always have their day planned in advance and at the same time always focus fully on just one thing at a time so as to be able to give their best while doing individual tasks. You should not only apply this attitude to your own work but also pass it on to your team.

Visionary attitude

According to LeadershipNow, all successful managers share the trait of having a certain vision for the future and the ability to convey this vision to others. They dare to dream, think outside the box and come up with big plans.

Rising early

Getting up early when others are still asleep does not bother successful managers as it allows them to work in an efficient and relaxed way, and handle many tasks before others arrive at the office.

Curiosity

A natural curiosity, interest in events around the world and in their own milieu, learning how things work and keeping in touch with new trends: all these are necessary traits of a successful manager.

Willingness to learn

Without the ability and willingness to listen to others and educate themselves, a manager cannot maintain good relationships with their employees and develop their team.

Devoting enough time to others

A good manager is a people's person: they do not forget about others, they devote sufficient time to other people and are able to adapt to them in the short run; hence everybody likes them and looks forward to conversing with them.

Analysis of their own actions

Reaching success requires not just walking in the dark and trying out various procedures, but also analysing one's deeds and learning from both one's successes and failures.
