They know when they need to show humility and empathy. Apart from relational awareness they are also able to work through complex challenges, generate creative solutions and see things from a wider perspective.

Capable of adapting

These people have been through numerous major transitions. As a result, they are resilient and able to adapt. They learned long ago how to turn a crisis into an opportunity. On the other hand, and this is true especially of people who have travelled a lot from a very young age, there is a risk that their adapting process is too seamless and they may lose something of their uniqueness.

Flexibility and reinvention

They are capable of reinvention, which results in a can-do attitude. They are good at driving change and know how to guide others through changes. They encourage others to think outside the box. They evolve and can lead others to do the same.

Collaboration across borders

They are also effective in managing cross-country networks. They are usually used to collaborating and maintaining relationships with diverse colleagues of different cultural backgrounds. They know how to nurture remote relationships and can tell when a call is enough or, on the contrary, an in-person meeting is necessary.
