Have you made a New Year's resolution to improve your entrepreneurial thinking and skills? Then we have prepared the following tips just for you. The recommendations are based on 10 Tips on How to Be a Better Entrepreneur in 2014 published on Entrepreneur.com.

1. Work on your weaknesses

Think about what you are not as good at as you could be only because of fear. Find a suitable form of personal development: reading articles, a course, a mentor ...

2. Try better to balance your work and private life

Seek a healthier lifestyle that will better suit both you and your loved ones. There is no direct correlation between the number of working hours and results of your work.

3. Become involved in difficult conversations

Ignoring problems will not help you. This is true both at work and at home. Face difficult conversations head on and try to solve complex issues the best you can.

4. Set measures of success

Whatever you will do, clearly specify KPIs for what will constitute success and failure. It should be fun for you to surpass these limits.

5. Follow the two-minute rule

If you have a task to do which can be completed in two minutes or less, do it immediately. In other cases, focus on your priorities and leave less important tasks for later.
