With many of these problems you will probably say that it is not anything new that everyone knows that these activities unnecessarily rob employees of time. But try to honestly answer the question whether you do not face these problems too. You may be unpleasantly surprised and it might inspire you to finally change something.

  • All the time organizing ineffective meetings. They mostly have no agenda, they are too long, people go there, who do not have to be there at all, and they end up with no visible results.
  • Sending a huge number of e-mails and expecting that the staff will handle them all day and night.
  • Common not meeting deadlines. When someone delivers their work late or come late to meetings, nothing happens.
  • Not respecting private lives of employees after working hours.
  • Rewarding busyness rather than productivity. You find it easier.
  • Underestimating the work environment. Your people work in noise, clutter or poorly equipped premises.
  • Creating workflows regardless of what productivity they enable. For example, many companies have completely abolished the separate offices.
  • Employees have become slaves to technology. They cannot work properly, because they have the most modern, but completely unsuitable tools.
