The day has 24 hours for all of us, but we all can choose what we do with our time. If you have the feeling that you are always short on time, try getting your time back by taking small steps. On his blog, American consultant, publicist and author of the successful book Time Management Ninja Craig Jarrow recommends starting with the following ten steps, each of which can save you up to 10 minutes per day.

  1. Get up earlier. A few minutes is enough.
  2. Plan each day.
  3. Schedule your commute to work so that you avoid rush hour traffic.
  4. Stop reading the news on the Internet during working hours.
  5. Stop checking your Facebook profile.
  6. End meetings on time.
  7. Do not complain. Instead, invest your energy into problem solving.
  8. Do not lose time getting to a restaurant and waiting for your meal. Bring food to the office.
  9. Shift your entire schedule by ten minutes.
  10. When you don’t know how to handle something, ask for help.
