Reduce pre-Christmas stress in your team

The end of the year is nearing, bringing with it that time when employers have to deal with the employees’ decreasing concentration. So what can you do to prevent the pre-Christmas stress from taking its toll on your team? The Talent Management website recommends the following:

Take breaks

Even if you’re swamped with work, do not underestimate breaks. On the contrary, managers should ask their people to take their breaks so that they prevent early exhaustion.

Liven up meetings

Do not always meet in the same conference room. Feel free to go outside of the company. Movement and a change of the environment will boost morale and creativity.

Focus on priorities

Encourage your people to always deal with their most important tasks right in the morning. Leave routine and less difficult tasks for the afternoon. And automate anything that you can.

Allow work from home

Allow your people, for example, to work from home one day a week. Give them the opportunity to show that they can be at least as productive at home, maybe even more productive.
