Do not underestimate preparation

Brian Tracy advises to start by writing the goals you want to achieve in your presentation. It  does not matter if you are to speak only for ten minutes or for ten hours - you should know your audience and what you want to achieve with these people. Be as specific as possible and in addition to the goals write also the ways to realize them. If you do not have enough information, find it. Then write down the speech you want to present. Read it several times and make adjustments until you feel good about it.

Practice your presentation skills

Use a video camera or tape recorder and record the entire presentation in the same way you will present it to the public. Then listen and watch the recording and try to find possibilities for improvement as objectively as possible. The more honest to yourself you are, the faster you can improve. By repeat this exercise it can be very a rapid change.

Get rid of your fear of public speaking

Nervousness is natural and that is why it is necessary for you to learn to work with it. You can find motivation in the fact that without excellent communication skills you could never achieve your full potential in business. The ability to communicate with people is the way up.
