Martin Binder is the new CEO of Coca-Cola Czech Republic

As of 1 February, Coca-Cola Czech Republic has a new CEO responsible for both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The position is now held by Martin Binder, an experienced professional in the areas of international trade and strategic management of multinational teams.

Over the course of his 11-year career with The Coca-Cola Company, Martin Binder has served in management positions for a number of European countries. He has extensive experience in strategic management for national markets in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. He played a key role in planning the core business agenda for Central Europe. He worked in both Czech and Slovak markets between 2018 and 2020 as its Business & Commercial Strategy Manager. For eight years, he was also responsible for the company’s partnership with McDonald’s in Central European markets.

My main goal is to grow our loved brands in the Czech and Slovak markets and to seek out opportunities for expansion into new categories. I think that both markets have tremendous potential in this respect and I would like to ensure that consumers will always find our products within arm’s reach. I would also like to take the cooperation with our strong partner, Coca-Cola HBC, to the next level,” says Martin Binder, new CEO of Coca-Cola Czech Republic.

Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Martin Binder worked as an entrepreneur for over eight years and built IDEAL Live Marketing, the most award-winning live marketing agency in Austria, where he focused primarily on B2B events and projects.

Martin Binder earned his university degree in Sales and Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication in Vienna. His strengths include the ability to think systematically with a focus on seeking out business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders. He enjoys spending his free time with family, and engaging in sports - particularly cycling, running and hiking. When relaxing, Martin enjoys listening to classical music and is an avid fan of Mozart.
