Managers don't make work meaningful, only meaningless

As a manager, you don’t have a big role in creating a sense of meaningfulness for your subordinates at work. However, bad management will destroy a sense of meaning easily. 

A study by researchers at the business schools of Sussex and Greenwich reveals that quality of leadership isn’t mentioned when people describe meaningful moments at work. On the other hand, poor management is a top destroyer of meaningfulness at work.
