Such are the days of the world's richest people

In 2015 there was a total of 2,473 people worldwide whose assets exceeded $1 billion. Since 2014 the figure rose by a record 6.4%.

Collectively, the richest people owned $ 7.7 trillion, i.e. 5.4% more than in 2014. The wealth of five of them exceeded $50 billion.

806 (32.6%) of the dollar billionaires lived in Europe, 645 (26.1%) in Asia and 628 (25.4%) in North America. The vast majority of them were men (88.1%). Only 294 (11.9%) were women.

56% of the world's dollar billionaires acquired their wealth by their own efforts, 13% inherited it. 31% of the billionaires were both self-made and inherited.

Besides the wealth, these people also share similar leisure time activities. If you think that most of them passively enjoy their lives in luxury and care only about themselves, you're wrong.
